I,ve tried to open the dash, but it has been super glued, still not sure if its the dash thats causing the original issue, may be looking at complete lock set dash ecu etc
Before you write the dash off. See if you can power it up on the bench. A 12v AC adaptor will work. To identify the Pins on the dash connector you have to ensure the edge with two key ways is top and the single one bottom. Top left would be Pin 1 and bottom right Pin 26. Only 5 Pins require connection Pin 16 - Mode Pin 20 - Earth Pin 21 - +12v Pin 22 - +12v Pin 23 - Switched +12v to simulate igniton switch A toggle switch can be used to make the mode connection at pin 16 work. The A and B buttons are chosen by either putting 12v to pin 16 or -ve to pin 16. For the sake of powering the dash up Pin 16 can be left unconnected.
