fooked case fooked grip fooked lever So if these items are all good why not keep them.. or better still leave them on the bike?
Have I missed something good for sale? Shit this always happens to me, I missed that lovely Honda Trackbike too. Jees no wonder the odds for me winning the lottery are a thrillion to 1 cos I am always to busy watching porn,
A slightly different perspective on this. A couple of years ago I was desperately trying to find a standard steel clutch cover cheaply in any condition that I could use to protect the clutch on the 900SS engine I’d built whilst I bolted the rest of the bike around it. I knew then it was a long term project and didn’t want to leave it with the open clutch cover on and the DP pressure plate etc exposed in a workshop environment. I did find one, I think from somebody on here, and it was in a similar condition to the one CR is trying to help somebody with, but was useful as a mask when I blasted the clutch cover, and has been on as protection ever since. I also built the engine up with an old set of used belts off my M900 knowing it wouldn’t be started for a while and I’d put new belts on when ready to push the button. I’ve used old air filters in the past, covered in Gaffer tape to seal up the intake of a bike I’m storing in not so ideal conditions, and kept the K&N Panel filter in a plastic bag indoors. Also, I never throw out old oil filter and sump plug ‘O’ Rings, they get hung up on a nail in the garage and used as strong elastic bands, and when the shops are shut are cut down and glued together with superglue to make emergency ‘O’ Rings of different sizes. On the other hand, I can be a 'Bit of a Pikey' and some of it is tat. Nasher
