anyone else venturing down to Mallory on Boxing Day? Wasn’t loads of bikes last year but enough for it to be entertaining, some decent cars flying around, but a good excuse to get out and about, the cafe will be open and burger van as it was cold, if you get heated gear for Xmas it’s a good place to try it out, all in all we enjoyed it last year so will be back this year.
Wrap up warm and do it, I kept meaning to but always something stopped me, but last year we went and really enjoyed getting out on a day I never normally enjoy, probably only 6 hours or so of action but yes it breaks the monotony of Christmas
Weather looking ok ish for Boxing Day, was some fair riding in the extreme cold last year so if it is milder be really good I reckon, the cars are good admittedly
Sounds like fun ,but a fair old trip from here, boxing day for me is to watch the pram race in my town (a load of nutters dressed up and pushing each other in pram like carts ,then its on the piss for a few hours

I got my best and worst result at Mallory on an rgv 17th out of I think 34 in race 1 chain went into my engine at the hairpin race 2......I retired from racing shortly after that
Place of firsts for me at Mallory. First race weekend, first crash, first time in Leicester infirmary, following season first time I got my knee down. Also first time I realised that performance pads only last a round or two: metal to metal braking to the hairpin was fun!
