Plum Pudding Mallory On Boxing Day

Discussion in 'Racing & Bike Sport' started by Dirty Leeds, Nov 27, 2018.

  1. anyone else venturing down to Mallory on Boxing Day? Wasn’t loads of bikes last year but enough for it to be entertaining, some decent cars flying around, but a good excuse to get out and about, the cafe will be open and burger van as it was cold, if you get heated gear for Xmas it’s a good place to try it out, all in all we enjoyed it last year so will be back this year.

  2. Every year I try. Every year I get the same response...

  3. Wrap up warm and do it, I kept meaning to but always something stopped me, but last year we went and really enjoyed getting out on a day I never normally enjoy, probably only 6 hours or so of action but yes it breaks the monotony of Christmas

  11. Last time I did a Ducati track day at Mallory, there was lots of talk about it being sold for housing. Anyone know of any news?

I got my best ever result there years ago on a 250LC ina club race. Luv Mallory!

  13. Place of firsts for me at Mallory. First race weekend, first crash, first time in Leicester infirmary, following season first time I got my knee down. Also first time I realised that performance pads only last a round or two: metal to metal braking to the hairpin was fun!
