Hi, I’d like to get the front seat recovered in some sort of waterproof fake suede or similar, first quote I’ve had was £160 which seemed a little high. Has anyone had anything similar done and if so who did it and for how much? Cheers.
Conquest Carbon are retailing a choice of Italian made seat covers. A quick browse of their web site might give you some ideas. Andy
For that sort of price, have you considered just upgrading to either a Race or Comfort seat? I have both for the 1199 and I have to say, they are excellent.
Ah, I should have added, my current seat has a rip in it, most of what I’ve seen are literally covers that go over the std fabric and you’d be able to see it. I’m too short for a comfort seat
Place in Bradford does seats, I questioned them about reshaping/lowering the1198 seat must admit the call back did not materialise and cannot comment on workmanship, but google seat covering in Bradford find it easy
I used JPUpholstery website name https://www.motorcycleseatcovers.co.uk/ But it was for Honda transalp not a ducati so the material I needed and they used fitted the style which wouldn’t be posh enough for Ducati. But worth speaking to them. Cost was only 40 quid I think + own cost of posting to them.
Just had the little ladies seat lowered and recovered - Steve Adams in Newport Pagnell - proper nice job covered just as you said waterproof fake suede -£60
