Hi guys,I've just signed up,I live in Lewisham,London, had the Gt for 4 years and 54000 miles, cheers,Ian
Welcome, I'm pretty sure your bike last week...but I can't remember where! It was in South and you had a satchel bag and was wearing trainers!
Originally I went for some heavier progressive springs and oil in the original forks which made a big difference, then I found some ST3S adjustables so got them sprung for my weight and serviced at MCT, I've replaced the shocks with YSS fully adjustables too. All this combined with the lighter alloy wheels has completely transformed the bike.
And how do you find the YSS units? I have talked to them at the Milan Show with a view to bringing their stuff to the UK but they dont seem to make any sense...did you buy it here ? The company is in Thailand, and fronted in Europe by a Dutch set up.....
They are far more sophisticated than the OE units,I can really feel the difference with the settings, particularly when loaded and/or 2 up.Personally I think they are pretty high quality,I bought them through a bike shop in Paris.
