Having searched through the forums for threads regards private registrations i'm expecting getting roasted for this, but here goes (the general consensus seems to be private reg's are not approved of in this corner of the internet ) This plate was inherited on a previous Ducati i purchased many years ago, I've transfered it all my new bikes since, it would be perfectly suited to a Bayliss Replica (which i believe was the original owners intention) Currently on a retention certificate, can be used on any vehicle from 01/03/1999 onwards, price includes all transfer fees (£80 fee), can either transfer direct to your bike or onto a retention certificate in your name, i've had one good offer but want to give it a shot on here, looking for £850 ono (spendy i know but the offer received already is good) If you're interested get in touch, if not then i'll sell to the buyer already lined up, will leave this up for a week or so as in no rush to sell. Thanks for looking P.S - bike or actual plate NOT included in the sale, just the ownership certificate!
I have V21 BAY on a Bayliss and TB08 WSB on one too, so feck em I say reading your words your offer must have been good however, so snap his hand off Private plates if relevant to the vehicle are fine, like TEN 98R that someone has on here... silly spacings and names are a bit toss What's 12 mean
I believe when the guy who originally purchased it, did so when Troy was racing in Motogp - he ran the number 12 - or another interpretation could be Tiz Bay, as in It Is Bayliss
You know it dude but I will spell it out for Andy again as he can't grasp it TB = Troy Baylis 08 the year he won , now stay with me WSB a well known acronym for World Sliming Championship
I’m planning to buy TR12 BAY off the DVLA for £250 INC transfer fee. I have a good offer, but if someone is prepared to pay me £799 OVNO it could be theirs. Sorry OP, you did indicate you were ok with thread bants.
The 1098R Bayliss I nearly bought from Ducati Glasgow has the reg no. T21 BAY. It will be sold with the bike.
I own DUC 996R, running around with it on my Hyperstrada at the moment, thinking of sticking it on my pickup ;-)
