hi guys and gals.
Ash, from Berkshire. 40yrs old.
I’m a proper fair weather rider.
Starting riding when I was 27, after waking up on my birthday and realised no one got me a gift.
Went out and bought myself a 55plate R1.
Since I’ve had a brand new 2007 R1, and 2008 R1 and a 2010 R1.

I haven’t ridden in about 5+yrs.

Ive always wanted a Ducati, but could never justify the price tag. I’ve now made an impulse purchase of a Ducati 848 on a 2008 plate. Purely coz it’s all I could afford without taking out finance.

Will I be missing the power of the R1, or has it been too long for me to notice?
