My Radical SuperPantah project.

  1. The idle was a bit slow as it was cold. I've still got the original pantah 'All or nothing' choke fitted. My indicator diodes arrived as well, all 50 of them! They are so cheap you can't get them in any smaller amount.

  2. Sorted my insurance today, so if the weather's good it'll be out for an MOT tomorrow! I can't wait to ride it now :upyeah:

  3. Who did you go with? I'm a bit worried about insuring mine when it comes to it.

  4. That is one nice bike..

  5. I was with Carole Nash, when I tried to add it to my ST2 it took a couple of days for them to look at the specs and pictures before quoting me £385. I was paying £119 for the ST2 and not much more than £200 with the Baines Imola added to it with a £10k agreed value!
Needless to say I phoned around, and Bikesure came in at just under £220 with all modifications disclosed. That included protected NCB and legal cover. Not a bad deal in my eyes ;-)

  6. That is a good deal. I bet mine will be bloody double that but at least I'll get insurance. Good job mate!!

  7. Well done Nick :upyeah:! I really like the look and "feel" of your project, and I hope you have many happy hours together out on the road

Thanks for the compliment! Well, my first ride was today and.........It's feckin awesome! I wasn't sure how it'd be with the 750 lump but it's so responsive off the throttle, it just needs a bit of fettling with the pilots but it's like a train once it's on the mains! The riding position just feels so cool, if that makes sense? I had a grin across my mug like I've not had on a bike in a long time. It's now very mucky as I stuck to my local country roads which are a bit shitty. Who cares, it's for riding not polishing! I love it!!! :)
