@chizel Yeah why not? My first choice would be a BMW HP4 as a spare bike. It meet the IL4 criteria and is not japanese.
@chizel Not sure what is wrong there, but for added piece or mind I would certainly double check and re-torque all the bolts/screws and add some Loctite 243 (oil tolerant once set) & Loctite 222 (smaller bolts where oil not present)
No, it's not a "big bang". Not sure what model it is, but I think it 06, exhaust under the seat model. He was so pissed off because it is the quietest one of all of our bikes. He doesn't have any trouble with it anywhere we go, it's totally standard & normally blows 92db static.
look out novice class!!!! (well the slower ones) took the 749 out today for a spirited 80 mile blast and it didn't miss a beat!!! cleaned every thing and drained some oil (wont say how much it was over as im a lil embarrassed (not as embarrassed as my mechanic should be though!!!) and its a lil rocket!!! might take a blast to Portsmouth tomorrow down the a3 to confirm all is good but its looking promising...
