Hi All, Neutral light seems to be very lazy since i got the bike out of winter storage. It doesnt seem to light up which makes it impossible to start the engine and warm it on the side stand. Once fired up and i cover a few hundred yards, neutral light seems to wake up and do its job. Anyone had this and what is the fix? 2009 1198, Thanks
Does this bike have a gear position indicator? Looking at Google images it looks like an earth switch.... replace it.... Simple bolt type... not sure where it is on the engine, so either a spanner or "injector type" socket set required (hollow sockets to allow for wire).
It's almost certainly the switch, its at the rear of the gearbox on the right hand side under a grey bung with a single wire coming out of it.
