I think I’m in the position to let my beautiful 1098R go after another year of not riding it. Bought from this forum over 2 years ago it’s in immaculate condition from front to back. The bike has been looked after by Richard and his team at http://louigimoto.com/ and subject to sale will be going back to them for a belt and a quick service. The previous owner had Richard install some different cams and high comp pistons , along with tidying up all the little bits to give near 190bhp on their dyno after perfecting the fuelling I will get the service and belts done with Richard if there is a genuine interest for the bike, if not then it will sit as it won’t be ridden again by me as I’ve lost the love for bikes. £18,500 and will will take a px for Rolex submariner or DeepSea 126660 JC plus cash
Why do people get so excited about pics. It’s an immaculate standard 1098r . We all know what they look like but yes it needs a bit more info up. I’ll dig it out of the workshop and have a look but if someone wants it then they’ll pm me. People that want pics are normally just time wasters.
Pics are great though aren’t they. I have seen lots of tits but I’m always happy to look at pics of more, despite knowing what they look like!
So, looking for a 37% return on a capital investment over 2 years. That would be a nice little performer.
The sellers entitled to ask what he wants for it but it’s certainly an interesting sales pitch. Not sure I’d be making the call on 18.5 large without at least a look at what I’m interested in, even though I’m absolutely certain what any other 1098r looks like. Hey each to their own I guess
No because I know what they look like . I would view them properly F2F ThNks, that’s saved me taking a pic and I couldnt find the old ad. But it’s not for sale for that price And that’s the way of the world. It will sell for what’s its worth. If I want to shift it and no one buys at £18500 then I’ll go down to what someone will pay. It’s the way sales works. You sell your assets for as much as possible and it’s not very easy it price it at £13500 then to the first of 5 people say sorry mate, the price has gone up as another 3 people are interested. Would the D16 owners on here let their bikes go for what they paid for them ? Nope they haven’t.
Think there’s a few about at the mo.... Had mine at Almeria/Andalusia last week and was re aquatinted with its awesomeness! Hard to ride fast but incredible when you hook up properly!!!!
