Yes Dave, there's a couple of dozen and more on this forum. I would say that there would be interest in a SW meet, I'm guessing that since you are in Taunton that you are thinking somewhere a bit central like Exeter'ish? A Cornwall meet is also getting closer, see this forum. Suggest you post a date/location and see what reaction you get. Weather has been a bit grim recently so attendance could be affected if things don't clear up.
We would be interested. We are just south of Bath. We did go to a few of the meets at the Cafe on Haldon Hill in ducatisti times. Until it warms up though I won't be out due to suffering from reynauds that the cold triggers quicker than the vibration from the bikes. Someone on the forum was suggesting meeting down near Plymouth a week or so ago. The 9am meet up time is going to mean a very early start for us!!
Will see how many people express an interest and where that are. Could be further SW than Exeter if thats where most people are.
I become a man of leisure in June, Ollie is now at Uni' and Rowan is old enough to look after herself and so all those old excuses that I used to make in the old Castle of Comfort/Canal days are fast becoming redundant....count me in! PS. We do, however, now have a sailing boat and so I can see some new excuses on the horizon.....
