Marquez - seems the kid's ON IT already!

  1. Nice to see..... another Stoner to polarise the field with stunning speed, attitude, aggressive riding and a distinctive style.

    Proper talent.

You take away the track knowledge advantage of the others and go to Austin and he is spanking them all already.....

Will be a great season. He has always been a pleasure to watch. No doubt they will all be complaining about him after a few rounds!

  2. Let's see how race day pans out first. It's looking pretty special so far, though.

  3. I think he'll mix it up a bit

  4. When was the last time a rookie won the premier class on their debut? The test times suggest this is a possibility...

  5. I don't think he'll win because he'll bin it too many times, like George Lawrence did in his first season. But I do think he will be up there.

  6. When I moved into my new house 30months ago, the thatcher who did some work for me said " keep a look out for Marquez"

i do not know how he spotted it but I think the thatcher was onto something.

  7. Wasnt it Jorge? Either win or on his first year.

  8. Marquez will spice it up the one to watch.bring it on its been a long winter

  9. I cant believe the kids lean angle - immense

  10. My hero

  11. It was Biaggi. And he celebrated with 'THAT' wheelie over the start finish line and earned himself a few words from Mighty Mick in the press conference afterwards

  12. Nah, the lazy git took until his third race to win (1st race = 2nd, 2nd race = 3rd). Got three poles in a row to kick off though!

  13. Think he will do a lorenzo(first yr) this yr and either be right up there fighting for the win or in the kitty litter.

  14. Why will he polarise like Stoner ??? Maybe like Simoncelli, but Casey polarised not because of his riding but because of his personality ....

  15. MM is clearly an outstanding rider and apart from that moment at Philip Island in 2011 when he steamed into the back of another ride on a slow down lap, he seems to come across really very well. Always smiling, always happy to talk to people, very much like is team mate DP. He doesn't have anything to prove, but will be fighting at the front from the first practice session at Qatar. He will have a big off somewhere, but as long as he doesn't get injured, he'll be a real threat to DP, JL, VR et al. Winning the title? I wouldn't put it past him
