Bike Makes Weird ‘sighing’ Noise In Garage

  1. my bike is possessed. Makes a weird high pitched sighing/groaning noise when it’s off and sitting in the garage. It’s freaking me out. Do I need to call an exorcist?

  2. Yes, you do. Watch out for clowns too.
Alternatively you could check that the vent pipe on your tank is not obstructed.

  4. Is it possible you have mistaken your bike for a Bengal Tiger?

  5. I think it’s coming from the fuel tank or filler cap area.

I’m worried in case it’s a sign of the additive that called expanding tank in my 848.

  6. You sure your garage isn't a s&m dungeon and you've forgotten you had someone tied up there?

When it makes the noise, open the fuel cap, if it then goes away and isn't there when your cap is shut again, check your vent pipe isn't pinched or trapped

  8. This fixed it on my 848 but not on my monster r. My main concern is my tank may expand.

  9. It's probabley lonely. Buy another bike to keep it company. If that doesn't work, buy another one.
