Dyno always gonna be best. Id recommend this even for a standard machine, worth every penny. As for Db, don't know, the asy Termi is around 110 Db so would expect it to be slightly quieter as the exit on the Termi is larger.
Ok, so WAY over TD levels. So would it run sh!t with the OEM non cored exhaust on for TDs? Or would I be better with 2 EPEOM's I could swap between? Would that work?
I don't think you can simply plug in an EPROM chip on this ECU. Can you? The only way to switch between two maps would be to download software and upload files to the ECU or go Power Commander... I think!
thinking of it, but concerned about track days. I could swap back for TDs but then would the fueling be screwed?
have you swapped them? Only looks a few bolts (he says optimistically). Not sure if I could get 2 maps, one for each pipe then just upload when i swapped (he says optimistically). I need to call the tuner tomorrow as they are shut on Mondays.
I have a cored exhaust with Termi size tailpipes and pc3 and to me, the fuelling feels brilliant. I don't know if there's a way to check out the set up and maybe copy it?
No idea but I like it loud and it is because I've filled much of the perforation in the straight-through pipes with exhaust sealer
I had a cored standard can on mine before swapping for Termi slip on. I had the noise Nazi's at oulton measure it at 102db. It was also 102db at Cadwell. Thoroughly warmed up before hand tho and with standard headers.
I have a cored 749, standard ecu and headers, standard link pipe decatted as well. Dyno’d and fuelling was still a big rich. Linear power and torque curve though so I’m just going to leave it. Noise tested at a track day Saturday just gone and it was in the 90’s dB. Ran lovely all day.
