My Ducati OEM heated grips on my 2010 Mutley were worn through (clutch hand) so that I could see the heating element. Didn’t want to replace entire grips so used this technique (https://advrider.com/f/threads/replacing-heated-grip-rubbers.90799/) to just replace Rubbers. Worked a TREAT (see photos). Used the Hairspray technique..
Nice one. Mine were starting to go on my 2015 mts so I wrapped them with black tennis raquet tape. I am so frugal!
Lol! That is Frugal! This basically cost me £20 for two sets of grips (you have to use the throttle one from each to go over the heating element) and £2 for a can of hairspray! Will be cheaper still for less expensive grips and if you can nick the Missus's hairspray!
