Insurance Quote From Cn

Discussion in 'Insurance - Sponsored by Ducati Insurance' started by Ian, Jun 5, 2019.

  1. Four bikes, multi policy. Panigale, ZZR1100, Monster, 851.
    £13,000!
Remove the 851 and drops to about £750.
Add a rd250 and it’s back to £13,000 (to see if the 851 is somehow the issue)
Is that their way of saying ‘piss off, three bikes max’?
Being fair I’m still not going to take it at £750!

  2. Is this an internet based quote that didn’t involve a conversation with a person ? Talk to BeMoto, they are not the best solution for everyone but they are honest enough to put their hands up if they are not. Andy

  3. Talk to Hastings Direct they quoted me on a multibike policy saved me a fortune you can take out the things you don't want with CN you can't so your paying for this you don't want or need

  4. At £13,000 per year I’d want Billie Piper sat in the garage to massage me when I return home and Taylor Swift to cook me breakfast...

  5. I am with CN and have 4 bikes (including an 851) insuredi with them for less than £750. Could be that age is a factor as I am getting on in years but suggest you give them a call.

  6. I expect its a mistake. Call them & it might go down by £12500?.

  7. CN gave me an online quote for multistrada and speed triple at over £11000 ,stayed with Hastings direct :upyeah:

  8. Seems excessive and most probably an error somewhere.
I have four bikes with Carole Nash, fireblade, monster s4, zx9r and Trx 850, I'm £369 fully comp

  9. At least you would be safe in the knowledge that she wouldn't want to eat any of it..

  11. Hmmm having sold 900ss 34yrs of ownership Carol Nash was always my choice. 5yrs later needed a quote 999, they couldn't find my total nc fc £990... Wtf.... Tpft... £440 had cheaper quotes I cited to this spanner... I'll put you on hold spk to my manager... That old chestnut.. Went with MCE.. Tpft £127...nope not tried claiming 99% of my insurance dealings have been crap rip offs what ever is insured so I go for low starting point; also assume my demise if I come off... How can Carol Nash have gone so crap? 60yr old, full licence since 77...£990.. Never claimed on a bike

  12. Don't start me off about insurance companies .
Scrotum biters ..... all of them .

I aim to be back on the road here soon , but I'm dreading all the BS .
After decades of driving cars and bikes without accidents , claims or convictions
I've been told that all my no-claims discount is now gone ,
apparently because I let it go more than 2 years without a UK policy running continuously .

They don't want to know about proof of claim-free insurance from other EU countries .

The only thing I have on my side is age .... Ha !

If only someone had told me how great getting old is ,
I'd have got started on it a lot sooner ..... :D

  13. Is the killer question. My guess was bought by bigger company..
