MUGELLO MOTOGP 2013 Dear Ducatisti I’m organising a trip for Ducati UK down to the Mugello MotoGP in June. Basically we ship our bikes, riding gear and luggage down to Italy, fully insured, using the transport company that Ducati use to bring new bikes into the UK. The bikes are unloaded at a depot near to Mugello. We fly down and collect our bikes, have a week’s holiday in the sun (distant memory...), attend the GP, generally eat, drink, and ride the wheels off our bikes on some of the best twisty roads that Italy has to offer, then ship the bikes home and fly back. We have also arranged a factory/museum visit up at Borgo Panigale during the week away, riding up the famous Futa Pass to get there! The package incl. B&B at a nice hotel with safe bike parking and a cool pool, and airport transfers. We have some places on the trip which is for one week from 29th May until 5th June. Sounds good..... Where is your bike collected from and what day does it need to be there for ? How many places are there and is it only Ducati ? Do we arrange our own flights ?
Hi Chaps, bikes, luggage, riding gear etc are shipped to our depot in Prato near Mugello on Fri 24 May. You drop your bike and gear off at one of our two depots, Milton Keynes on the Wed 22nd, or Manchester on Thu 23rd. You arrange your own flight from Luton to Pisa Airport, where bus collects us, on following Wed 29th. There are 12 places (bikes) let on the trip, and most the bikes on the trip are all Ducati. The costs are: 1 bike, with rider and pillion sharing a double twin room £545/per person 2 bikes. 2 riders, sharing a double or twin room, £811/person 3 bikes, 3 riders, sharing a triple bed room £779/person Billy no mates, 1 bike, 1 rider in a twin room alone (hoping to get lucky) £962.00/person Best regards Tony

BTW, just to say that Tony knows how to ship your Pride & Joy safely there & back. I have been on many Italy trips where Tony has taken my bikes amongst others and I can vouch for peace of mind, safety, security and knowing that the bike will be their in 1 piece and ready to ride. It's a great trip, just a pity that I have other commitments. Tony is meticulous and is as good as his word.!. Have a good time all :0(
Getting back from MK after dropping off the bike with luggage, change of clothes etc etc creates a bit of a problem ? Also, my wifes just reminded me its half term..... There's always something.
Dear Tricolore, where there's a will there's a way...sorry that you wont be joining us in June, but maybe for the Ducati UK trip to Misano for the San Marino MotoGP in Sept, don't think its half term then, thanks for reply anyhow. Kind regards Tony
It sure is going to be fun in Mugello, watching Valentino chasing down Jorge on the last lap, if the first MotoGP in Qatar is anything to go by.........
