  1. Ever heard of this?
I took my Cagiva Elefant for it mot yesterday at my usual test centre. Everything great as usual. I was sat on it to do the lights etc, headlamp aim was slightly low so stuck my hand under the headlights wound it up a bit, sorted.
He gave me a fail certificate and pass certificate. The fail was for the headlight aim being low even tho sorted immediately in about 15 seconds.
Adjusted headlight aim at the test centre in the past loads of times with no fail being issued.
Is this a new rule or wa she just being an arse and a jobs worth....

  2. pass rectified at station. i think if they passed every vehicle first time they would get a visit from the mot inspectorate .

  3. I get it every year for having no rear reflector. Covering his backside.

  4. yeah PRS quite normal, headlight aim is the most common.

  5. What's the set height of the ground for a future reference point:thinkingface:

  6. You need a beam tester really mate but it's all a bit of a farce, I had a bike In last week with and upside down been pattern but had to past it because it technically didn't dazzle anyone.

  7. I’m sure Cookster knows but I thought no rear reflector was a definite fail?

  8. Relfectòr is needed if your running lights.

  9. Just for the record if you've small indicators like me you'll be in trouble as there is now a set distance/width between the indicators so i've to put all the O.E equipment back on the Smart every year:(

  10. My bike failed on headlight aim and he did the same but also explained it helps with his stats.

  11. I think my tester was just being an arse and a nob, that’s just what he looked like
