  1. Was cleaning the bike today and found this lying loose, does anyone have any idea what it is or where it should be??
    Many thanks
PS I'm pointing at the offending object!

  2. Is it one of the spacers from under the seat?

  3. Could be, where about would it go?

  4. Lift the seat and you'll see the bayonet spiky thing that is half of the seat catch.
Looks like one of the spacers that holds it to the seat unit.

    That;s my best guess...

  5. Thank you very much kind sir!

  6. Or possibly from the rear tank mounting.

  7. The spacer from the wire fuel pipes guide, from nearside/cam cap ?.

    brian.

  8. I think it might be too long for that one Brian? It's hard to get an idea of proportion but I think Nelson is right. The other similar (but smaller dia/length) spacer is used on the standard exhaust hangers just below rear of seat unit.

  9. Was that it...?

If so I must win the sado of the month award...:frown:

  10. Yes thanks I think it was, although I'm having bother fitting it back on, things don't seem to quite line up :(

  11. Are you sure its off your bike? Could it be a hot sticky tyre picked it up off the road and deposited it there
