  6. He's finished his continental trip, back on the tools but can't dismiss an early finish for a nap, he is getting on a bit. :upyeah:

  7. I can’t imagine a bloke stating that his supper is ready, unless of course you’re a character from an Enid Blyton novel!
Maybe it’s because I’m a northern ‘rough’ type
    what what.

  8. That used to describe my Fridays - biscuits galore at work, now changed to Thursday - my part time work still adds up to about 45 hours :innocent:

  9. My type of "lunch"

  10. Supper isn't an event, it's just an impulse, one night you fancy some another you don't, it's no big deal. Not like breakfast, dinner then tea, they are set in stone.

  16. I think you're right. It could be space cookies and a hippie, or a bottle of Scottish and a fat bird. Other nights the bike or TV is all you need.

  17. I grew up in a big family and let me tell you, dinner was a contact sport!
With two referees who never agreed the rules of the game!

Mate, you are POSH. Chips and gravy is one of life's little luxuries. A bit like caviar in Cheltenham!
