Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of compatibility between the MIVV decat pipe dimension with an Arrow (or other) silencer? My MIVV Suono is just becoming too loud and so I need to make a change.
Thanks, yes I was thinking of doing that but not sure I have the skills to take it apart and re-assemble......So new silencer seemed a better solution.
That's an expensive answer to a cheap solution. Have a look on Youtube. I'm sure there's a vid showing you how to do it. I've done them myself in the past and it's relatively easy.
I have the Mivv decat + end can and find it OK, but definitely loud. The standard end can fits onto the Mivv decat pipe, meaning that any slip on will fit the Mivv decat. (I have the 1260, but I think it's the same as the 1200) Hope that helps
On my Pikes Peak (non DVT) i put an SC Projects end can and link pipe,, saves a lot of weight. For sure its loud but it does come with a DB killer which is easy fit with a circlip pliers.. also fitted a Rapid Bike engine management The upshot is the motor is flipping "lumpy" when cold and a b--tch in slow traffic, goes well when warmed up
