Ha! the corrado is one that hasnt been hit with the nostalgia tax rise yet, or at least doesnt appear to have. Is that your KR1S? Seems we have close tastes. Had loads of 2 strokes, RGV, RS250, MC21SP, MC28SP, RG500, NS400, RD500 etc etc
^ Yup, that KR1S was mine - another regret sale. Plus RD's etc. The Corrado's are now all 'slammed'. VR6 version is quite rich now but the rest are not worth having. I wrecked mine after 1 year and 30,000 miles.
I'm looking this year to buy a decent deck and amp and start to turn my collection of music at home, into vinyl once again
Looked at the new streetfighter V4, oh, I could be tempted, but not certain 'er indoors thinks it's a good idea. Do you think it would be a little too much for a 70 odd year old?
I had a nexx carbon fibre helmet for the track. it had a massive field of view and was obviously very light. It was far too noisy on the road though .
Thanks for that. I was looking at that model not long ago for a road lid actually, but just because I liked the looks, so I might revisit it. It’s not the width, but the height of the field of vision which I find restrictive. The AGV Pista seems to have an aperture that starts at most people’s nose and ends around the hairline so I might try one of those as well. The issue may be due to the way the Chaser V sits low on my particular head but I don’t recall having the same issue with my now retired RX7.
Dunno, I will seek out one or two forums, read a lot, read a lot of reviews. I'm not looking for rolls royce poser equipment, I want to use it, not look at it.
Popped into the local triumph dealer to see the new street triple and get a free sausage roll and ended up with a brand new Thruxton R. Comes with V&H pipes, tail tidy, fly screen, led indicators, tank strap and pads. For 11k I’m happy
There is no view limitations on my Nexx and the lightness (I might have mentioned before!) it brilliant. Ear plugs take care of the noise,
