Well from my own experience of a full dealer fitted Termi + Upmap system, everything about the change on my 2015 plate Pikes Peak, was easy to describe in one word "staggering".... Although as advised by Ducati, the increase in HP was only circa 5% in total, the overall improvement in the bike's smoothness and pick-up in terms of throttle response, was light years different to standard. It made the bike an absolute delight to ride, with a better spread of torque and reduced requirement to change gear quite so much, or at least it felt like it. Add to this the weight reduction and the addictive noise, even with the baffle in place and the serious amount of money needed to get this modification fitted, seems to become less relevant. In addition, if and when you decide to sell the bike at some point, you will be reasonably sure to get circa £650-850 back for the system too. So, depending on how long you keep the bike, the investment starts to make a little more sense. But then talking about things making sense, when you think about that in terms of bike ownership, not too much of that makes sense, then again, if you enjoy something, then it needs to be done properly......doesn't it?
Hi All final decision full Termignoni or keep the D193 with arrow decat and rapid bike the dealer will fit either
I vote for D193 + decat. I'm not a fan of the looks of the full termi and you'll have more of a unique solution
Got to be the full Termi system. It’s simply superb and with the upmap “WOW” The muts nuts But I would say that as it’s what I’ve got
The Pikes Peak replica full Termignoni all titanium exhaust system is also available. Are you sitting down? https://brocksperformance.com/limit...5-19-and-multistrada-1200-s-pikes-peak-15-19/
Ref: Brocks performance Surely there's nobody stupid enough to buy that ,they must be trying to recoup the jig and development costs in the first 2 units..... what a joke
I have been contemplating this upgrade, the standard full Termi not the Titanium, and asked my dealer how much they would charge to fit. I was told £250 plus VAT . Does this sound reasonable? I know some on here have fitted the system themselves and had the dealer just install the upmap.
That does seem expensive, don't know what their hourly rate is but it only took me a couple of hours to fit and my dealer at the time, installed the upmap for free as I'd bought the system from them. It's really not that difficult to fit and the system comes with full fitting instructions.
