poor running when hot

  1. whent out on the 999s for a breakfast run to day but noticed that when the bike is hot it miss fires but only when hot and i stalled it a couple of times in traffic as the tick over was erratic .
    the bike is fitted with a power comander it had new plugs less than 300 miles ago and it has a new battery and fresh fuel and it never getts wet .
    any idears?

  2. have a look at the leads first.they might be ok when cold/warm.but they do break down when hot.

  3. Also on 749 my pc3 lost it's map and had it corrupted few times.

  5. It is obvious when map is erased it just will not start. For corruption it is doing odd stuff.

    Plug in your PC3 to PC and flash the same map again. You have a copy of the map somewhere?

    Other then that what speno said check connectors.

  6. dont have the maps or the soft ware i will check all the cables

  7. Software you can get from pc3 website. Did you have custom map made or one from default maps loaded?
