Ken would like to delay the start as still wet his neck of the woods, I will await his update and hopefully ride up there with him a little later. Forecast and visually it looks as if it will be slightly warmer and dryer a little later. If you are ready to depart, we will see you at Box hill later.
Great day at Box Hill.... sunshine! A total of (I think) 15 Ducatis turned up for a natter - some of whom are pictured below. My thanks AGAIN to Harry, Pete, Darren and John for trying to resolve my broken bike again. Harry has thieving bits of broken webbing down to an art form .!! All in a day's riding, I guess ...:frown:.
Hope the webbing held the stand Sue, did you manage to get a spring? Was a lovely day and certainly the best day of the year so far. A great turn out and nice to chat to some friendly faces. Cheers guys.
Sorry I missed what looked like a good getogehter for the April gathering! Did any of you go for a ride out after the meet ie to Whiteways or Newlands Corner?
Darren, John, H and self went the scenic route to P&H (great roads) ... H & self went on down to Bury Hill - which was packed to the hilt!! Finally some cheerful bikers in the sun :biggrin:
After Box, me and the other guys went to Newlands Corner for a while then dispersed to various locations north, west and south. As such, we didn't get to Bury Hill in the end. Great to meet up with the guys (n gal, Sue) at Box though.
