  2. Wife and daughter reminded me with this awesome cake that I'm increasing the average age of a panigale rider today!
    32 with a base 1299 and 1098R , and had a 1199 for about 4 years before that.
    Can't wait for the weather to clear up and get back out on the bikes! Until then, I'll eat the cake...

  4. riding since I was 16 at 19 got my first big bike vr1000 bol d or then at 20 got the bees knees gsxr1100g ( awesome). Had a few breaks late 20s and early 40s for a bit but got the urge again 3 years back. still 49 for a bit been riding ducatis for the last 3 years 899 and now the 1299 for 2 years.
    going for the ducati base v4 this year while I am still able to enjoy the sports bikes and not think about the aches and pains they give you haha.Cant wait for this years riding.

  5. 56, 39 years on bikes, Fireblade’s n stuff, only ridden Ducati for the last 3.5 years, took a test ride on a 1299 a few months back, bloody terrifying, I’ll stick with my 900ss & Scrambler, my poor addled old brain needs to stay sub 100bhp these days!, I’m still trying to figure out what happened that day on the Panigale, I remember twisting the throttle open about an eighth of an inch but after that everything’s a blurr :0

  7. 56 and been riding most of my life now on 899 pani,came from 1098s so yes I’m still in sportsbike mode

  13. well im just 37. been riding for a while:) picking a pani 1299 friday. got a v rod, hayabusa turbo and best of all...KTM:) but pani is the best looking bike IMHO...

  14. well I'm certainly 2 years older that when this thread started :joy:- and still riding my 1299.. which is testimony to the bike in itself as I haven't changed it and have no plans to do so

  17. 54 on a bad day but 29 on a good one:p riding since 16 years old... It’s just a number! Stay off the pies and go do some Bikram Yoga:D Ooosh sorted. Only 4 Italian bikes 2004 999s , 2005 999R Genuine Fila Rep, 2017 Panigale 959, and current V4s Corse. This will be my last sports bike:astonished: promise

  19. 55. Went for a run this morning after walking the dogs.
    Watching some cookery shite program on telly now (wife’s got the remote) and I’ve just been for a slash. Fucking legs are killing me....

  20. 1299s and 43 also have a 1098s 998s 999s aprilia rs250 and a dirty big gsa1200 i love my pani !!! Riding road bikes from the day I turned 16
