I was so excited to be putting on a pair of Angel GT 2's the other day when I came across a lovely 'buckle/dent' in my front wheel rim. Miffed. I reckon it was done before I bought the bike so I have been riding it with blissful ignorance until now. Advice on whether to get it fixed is mixed as it's not letting out air as far as I can tell...But MOT time it may be a different story. Anyone had any experience with straightening a rim?
Yep, I've had a Multistrada front & rear straightened there. Came back good and straight with no visible damage the paint.
In the old days I would...There's a train of thought that heating them up can make them weaker but who knows what to believe nowadays?!! You don't happen to know the brake disc bolts torque setting by any chance?
Superb old school business...young bloke does the admin/booking in while the older guy in a brown coat/overall gets on with the skilled business.
