  1. Hi folks, newbie on here, just after a bit of advice. I recently sold a 05 749s and removed the 54mm 2 1 2 full system termigoni before she went.
i would be greatly appreciated if one of you clever chaps could advise a fair price to start this on ebay.
    Thank you

  2. Hi,

I have bought and sold many termignoni exhaust systems both half and full. I have always started them at 99p with no reserve (That's just the way I have always done it).

Generally the 54mm system has sold for the best price. I always gave them a good clean and a light polish.

Generally the full system's sold for anything between £700 and £1000. You have an exhaust that will fir the black swingarm ehich makes it more desirable. If I were selling it I would be hoping for nearer the £1000 mark

Hope this is of use to you

    Regards

    Matt

  3. a grand, bloomin eck.............have not got the balls for a 99p start. just in case.
many thanks for the advice matty

  4. Start it at 99p but put a reserve on it.

  5. Out of interest, when you removed the system did you also remove the performance filters and ecu?

Ive never sold an exhaust with these. Mine all had the carbon cover and the carbon heal plate only.

If you have the ecu and filters I genuinly think you are looking at more like the £1100 - £1200 mark.

Failing that you could sell the ecu in a seperate listing which should go for £100 - £150 if "unlocked"

Trust me you are in a strong position as they are becoming harder and harder to source. I am constantly looking for more to sell as Ive had such cracking success in the past.

PM me if you need any more help

  6. Thanks again matty. yes i have removed both the ecu and filters. Another thing i'm not clear on is the model fitment, this exhaust came off an 05 749s black swingarm and shallow sump. will it also fit some 999's

  7. Yes it will. it does limit you slightly as the deep sump exhaust will fit the shallow sump model but not visa versa

Any 749 or 999 with a deep sump and black swingarm will be fine, as im sure you are aware however most 999's with the black swingarm would have the deep sump.

Many 749's with the black swingarm however were fitted with the shallow sump engines.

I have always slightly flattenned the cross pipe on my exhausts as I have never liked the proximity to the sump
