  1. Bike going in for some work this afternoon so jumped on it this morning and it won’t start!
Dash lights up relays click, fuel pump and servo flapper valve do their thing but won’t fire.
Has fuel. Rode it 3 weeks ago. Bike has no added electrics from standard. 64 plate with original battery that gets regular Optimate tickles.
It’s now on the charger and showing sulphate indication.
Am I looking at a new battery?
Electrics are a mystery to me.

  2. I think so mate... Battery voltage on the dash can still show as 11.8v but if it has a dead cell then as soon as you try to start it, it will just drop all it's current. do you have a booster pack? if so try to start it with that, but it's a 7Amp battery, which isn't the biggest to start with so will struggle if on it's way out.

  3. Did it turn over? Was the kill switch on RUN?

  4. All switches in correct position so suspect is the battery. At dealers now being poked at.
Left it on Optimate for an hour, started first time so rode straight to dealer.

  10. Why is there some controversy regarding lipo???? :)
Hang on that won’t do it.
I’ve got a Lipo on my 91 900ss, it’s been on 3 years and no problems, provided your reg rec works lipo is fine, anyone that’s had an issue with lipo obviously doesn’t maintain their bike properly.
    That should do it!

  14. due to the wonderful design of the panigale kill/starter switch, you cant even see the starter button if the kill switch is on.
