Found a few engines on eBay motors for 1200-3 grand so bike should be back up and running an a few months
So for all my 848 riders out there. What’s the compression supposed to be so when I order my used engine I can do a compression check before I install
You might be better off starting a thread in the 848 section or Technical help if not done do already, probably get a faster response from those in the know. HTH
Well got the bike mostly stripped down and ready to pull the engine. Drained the oil and a ton of metal shavings came out so it’s beyond done. Now onto the engine Easter egg hunt. Will keep y’all updated as I go
So ill be ripping the engine apart to day to see what exactly caused the catastrophic engine failure. In turn if anyone need engine parts let me know and I’ll let you know if it’s good or not, seeing is how I’m replacing the entire power plant and transmission I won’t be using the parts from my blown engine
I don’t know which rod bearing went yet. Haven’t broke engine apart yet but some how I lost a rod bearing while riding and engine started knocking

Ya I plan on it when I get the engine taken apart, and as for the camera Len ya cleaning won’t help. Dropped my phone off the bike once and that’s the result
