I lived in Witham for a while too, but many years ago. Spent a few years in Wickham Bishops and then Great Totham and Little Totham, so I know your area a bit. Some good biking roads near Dunmow, through Finchingfield and Bardfield, but I guess you know that already
I used to work in Witham, almost opposite the motorcycle shop....... ....regular user of all the roads round that way, between Ipswich and London (from Colchester originally). AL
Yup, that's the one. Usually at least half a dozen of us from around Chelmsford area, and further afield including Southend and Hornchurch!
Sorry, Monday 20th - stupid calendar starts on Sunday! The point is that it's a pub meet and not a rideout - this means we keep it going through the winter and when it's not sunny - so you can turn up in the car if you want! It makes it more of a social event to sit and talk about bikes and keeps the group together, and the same 3rd monday so everyone knows when it is. Come join us!
