Polished Aluminium Whels

  1. Any ideas on a product to protect polished aluminium rims

  5. I have used this on my Spondon aluminium frame. Looks impressive, though it has not been out of the garage yet. My son uses a lot of their products detailing his cars and rates them.

  7. First is the frame just after coating. 2nd is starting to build. It has the look of natural aluminium, which I like. Hopefully won't oxidise. Makers claim effect lasts for 2-3 years on wheels. Frame.jpg Build1.jpg

  9. I have some polished fuchs wheels and now and then i clean them with belgom and they stay shinny for a good time.

  10. Get them coated with pure aluminium, that does not corrode. It is alloy that corrodes. Aircraft skins are made from Alclad, Aluminium alloy that is coated in pure aluminium, where it is cut or drilled then chromate is used to protect those areas.
