Xds Break Down

  1. My XDS broke down on the way to work yesterday, it just cut out with the dash showing warning sign,empty tank & stand down, the tank is full and the stand was up, would anyone be able to advise as to anyway I could fix this without returning to my dealer as they are all closed during the Covid 19 situation???

  2. Unplug and bypass the side stand switch with a shorting link and see if that makes a difference. Andy

  5. As a temporary solution, just to see if it made a difference, a bent paper clip or a piece of single strand copper wire to poke into the socket. Andy

  9. Thanks Andy, I've spliced the cables to by-pass the sensor all's working fine, just need to remember to raise the stand, until new sensor arrives, many thanks to everyone's input.

  11. Just fitted replacement side stand sensor, and all is good.
