A Flat Pack House/ My New Job

the hardest bit at the min is finding accommodation. we had a flat lined up on friday through holiday lets and after booking it friday they got back this morning saying its not happening. why still advertise it if you aint prepared to let it out? its crazy.

yeah, this company im stating with used to get the teams to do the footings themselves but now have a company that goes in, in advance and does screw piles. the difference in price to me is about 1500 quid but im happy for someone else to do that side, as if that's all they do (which it is) they are most likely way more efficient at it than i would be.

 

not silly at all mate and something we have looked into a lil bit. i will look into it further should we get desperate for sure.
at the min the office lady has found us digs but its not ideal. its a 1 bed apartment on the 5th floor. i know beggars cant be choosers and all that but we have a van load of tools so ideally would like to be somewhere a lil more suited... that said, i will take the gamble and a bed is a bed!

 

ive not met her yet but that question might pop up, amongst other things, should she be cute.

 

errr... possibly not. its going to be work with a mate who is a complete psycho and now we have to share a room. ive worked away with this chap many times in many countries. one thing we have worked out is that we shouldn't be sharing a room at all. ever.

 

hopefully its not that painful! or at best, its not me pulling that face!!!

 

just bite the pillow and shut up? lol.. thats what i tell him.

im not long back in london and am absolutely shattered. the job is really good but bloody hard graft. the location and clients are fantastic.
i have a few pics to share but cant be arsed at the min.
i will post one of where we are at after 3.5 days with 2.5 men. we are doing well and the boss visited site today and was impressed and happy.
