I was never a fan of Kraftwerk but it is undeniable the band helped to kick music into a certain direction and establish a genre that I am indeed rather fond of.

6ft square of lino, someone's pinched Mr Sheen from their mum and a beat-box laden with D batteries.

I cam smell the polish now, with overtones of spray cans..

 

A very distintive sound. RIP Florian.

 

Ive liked Kraftwerk since I was a kid.RIP

 

Their influence on modern day music is massive. It's easy to take for granted now but back then people writing pop music on synthesizers was unheard of.
