A Monster With Panache

  1. Hi all,

I'm looking to add a little extra something to my Monster 1200S.
    1. Carbon Rear Hugger (To match the front)
    2. Bar end mirrors (Oberon?)
    3. Rear Paddock Stand (Warrior?)
    Thanks!

  2. I just bought & fitted these bar end mirrors

Good quality :upyeah: and good VFM.

When removing the original mirrors you’ll probably find the right hand mirror has a back to front thread ie turn it clockwise to loosen. Don’t ask how I know

  6. These look good but I think I prefer the round. Let's see when they arrive!

What levers have you got on here? I'm on standard levers but keen to change.

  7. Look like evotech folding

  8. There’s no instructions with them when they arrive :( but it’s easy enough to work out.

This pic was just after fitting. Originally I wanted them to be turned downwards rather than up ie hanging under the bars, but when I put them on like that and then got on the bike to adjust them I realised that whilst that may look good in artful studio shots it’s impractical in the real world as you can see feck all out of them, your arms & wrists are in the line of sight:confused:.

  9. EvoTech are £115 for the pair, but I'm looking on SportsBikeShop and they sell BadDog levers...never heard of them but the reviews are brilliant and for a pair they come in at £60...

Is this too good to be true??? Granted - they don't fold but I'm not fussed about that - for £30 I'll buy another one.

Edit - I ask because this is an area I really don't want to screw up. If I need to grab a handful of brake, I don't want it to snap on me! (same reason I'd never buy short levers - I might need all fingers on deck!)

  10. Evotech Folding, bought used on here. Niiiiice quality as always with Evotech

  12. think that’s their own branded version of some Chinese generics, which isn’t to say they’re bad. They get good reviews and no one who’s died on them has complained yet. I’ve got some evotech non-folding spare but they’re shorty, not sure if they’d fit anyhoo

  13. Gotcha. I'm going to order them and I'll post a review. It's just my luck that as soon as I do this, someone will be selling some EvoTechs!

  14. They look an awful lot like Evotechs tbh, either clones of them or they’re both off the same production line. They’re very simple, I can’t see how they could be made badly other than if they made them out of cheese
