I have a 2017 x diavel with 6000 miles on the fuel gauge has stopped working thought to be sender is this a common problem with Ducati x diavel have they sorted it and will I why get any help from Ducati UK thanks
Not heard of any issues with the X Diavel and had no problems with our Diavel. I am however on my third sender on the Multistrada. So, yes it has been a problem on some models and the level of support from Ducati will depend on your relationship with the main dealer you use. If you bought the bike from them and have it serviced with them, they may approach Ducati for a goodwill replacement which would be on a parts supply only. If successful, you would most likely be asked to pay the labour. If you are successful, I’d hang on for a service when the petrol tank is usually removed to cut down on the labour. Hope this helps. I have a 2017 X Diavel S which has had same problem. Sender was replaced by my dealer last October, I haven't ridden bike since so fingers crossed all ok now !!
Hi, I'm a bit late to the party here but my 2017 X Diavel S (7000 miles)has developed a duff fuel guage. Did your issues prove to be the sender? Can anyone give me some tips on removing the tank, in particular disconnecting the pipes and cables please? Mike
