Hi I'm looking for ducati sf 1098 prefered, but would consider 848 too. I'm based in Wakefield, but for the right bike can travel basicly anywhere in UK. So if you know someone or selling please let me know, thanks.
If you dont mind the work theres one in louigi moto (1098s) but has a fucked barrel/piston....so needs some work - theres a lad on here that owns it but not been on for years.....last time i was in (about 6 weeks ago) just before the lockdown it was still there (with a thick layer of dust on it) i reckon its been there for a good couple of years now....apart from that its in great nick....bar the dust...
That was Gimlet. I met up with him once in Northumberland on his way to Scotland and he was telling me about this bike back then, and that must have been a couple of years ago. I think he was the 1st person I met from the forum and I had some coffee and cake at Kielder chewing the fat for a while. Anyway the SF sounded like it had been there for ages then. Really nice bloke and not sure why he left here.
