Hi there, new to the forum, taking delivery of my 2016 Multistrada 1200 this week, it is the standard 1200, Not 1200s/Pikes Peak etc. I am after a luggage set up with Aluminium box type panniers. Am I correct in saying there is only the SW Motech Evo Carrier that will fit? Read somewhere that the Givi rack doesn't fit due to the rear shock adjustment knob. Any one got a second hand set available? Or advice on other makes/options that don't cost me a kidney? Thanks in Advance
The Givi pannier racks do fit. You just need the relocation bracket for the adjuster knob. You can fit the racks by removing the knob from the preload adjuster but that's a shonky solution. Givi themselves don't even confirm the fitment for the 1200 DVT MTS but it does fit. The part number you want is PLR7406CAMKIT Enjoy!
Fire3500 Thanks for your reply, I thought it strange there not be an adaptor out there for the standard model. So good to see I was wrong. Nope that's the one. It's not listed for the 1200, only the 950 but that's a mistake. I took the gamble and it was a perfect fit.
