1200 R Has Anyone Changed Their Gearing?

  1. Cheers pal .

  2. As for chain length: I ordered a 120 links chain and here's what's leftover for a 1200 "R".

Readers should keep in mind that Ducati has changed the 1200 swingarm length a few times.
I could not get a definitive on chain length for various sprocket sizes therefore I opted to buy a bit longer and have it shortened.

Following quite a bit of research and narrowly avoiding a carrier mistake along the way, you may be interested to know that Superlite PCD-4 carrier will also accommodate both 525 and 520 sprockets.
I'm bringing this up because some of you (such as @hypermotbloke ) may want a rear sprocket larger than 43T which is the maximum available in a 525.
However, AFAM Superlite 520 series sprockets are available up to 46T to fit your PCD-4 carrier.
