As some of you may have noticed I’m having a tough time at the moment and looking on the forum is keeping me going at time. Just wanted to say thank you and keep up the good work
Chin up. There's plenty content on here. Lots of wallopers as well, but you've to take a balanced view, at least they like the same kind of bike as you...
Same sentiments here Lumbux, looking in here is keeping me going as well with all this crap going on. Read your posts friend, and I'm feeling for you, it must be hard. Been through it myself, all be it quite a few years ago now, but it turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to me in the end.
This forum and biking is a great distraction and has helped me get though some recent and still marginally ongoing tough times myself. Hang on in there @Lumbux, things will improve in time and you'll find yourself in a better place. Look after yourself and strive to improve your situation, even if that means having to make some painful decisions now. I chose divorce over early retirement (though I think I would have paid with my mental, and quite likely literal, demise with the latter). This was three years ago and things were just coming right after some considerable recent upset over a "too early" relationship with someone else when coronavirus struck and derailed my house move and chance to re-boot my life. Getting there now but it's taken some time and considerable stress.
Stick in there mate, life can be shit but when it is it can only get better. This forum is great to give you a distraction and a boost
This forum is certainly different. Like a racing harness, sometimes a pain in the arse but keeps you in the seat when needed keep it up mate
The forum has been a source of comfort through the last couple of years for me We have a fab group of people on here that why I love this forum
agreed, i'm relatively new on here, and i have to say the willingness of people to assist with technical stuff that i've asked for help with is way beyond what i would have thought from people i have never met (also reflected in the old threads i've read, of which there are hundreds!). This willingness to help clearly reaches far beyond just the technical stuff and the forum is a great sanctuary for many people. hats off to you all, owning a ducati isnt just rewarding in the sense of having a great bike...
Hang on in there @Lumbux there's always someone on here that's been there, done that and can offer advice and guidance, even if it's along the lines of 'don't do what I did'. This Forum is a source of knowledge, information, experience, banter, fun, sometimes some shite and occasionally an argument. It's like one big bar where everyone can meet and have a chinwag. As said above things will get better, chin-up mate
And, pray tell?....................what is wrong with being on the, ahem!.........shall we say, chunky side
