Hello, Wanted Touratech top box for 2019 1200 Multistrada Enduro or I'd welcome an alternative that looks similar to the Silver side panniers I have (sw motech) Thanks
I'd check that, whatever you decide on, the mounting hardware is compatible with that for your panniers. The OE touratech kit cannot be mixed with the OE Givi kit. I have the Touratech panniers fitted as standard. I purchased the OE Givi mounting as I was told, by Ducati, that it would fit. The pannier cross brace interferes with the support bars for the top case. I got round it by making my own as I already have a Givi top box on my other bike.
Thanks for the heads up. I have the original Touratech side panniers on my bike. But was thinking an alternative to the extortionate topbox. ive also tried Touratech direct in Germany but they won’t sell anything direct. The box from Ducati with fitting kit is £966.00. The same box with with KTM on is 393. I was wondering if this is an option with at Ducati quick release from 2014 model. just resent paying over the odds for the same product. Suppose I did buy a Ducati. would be interested to see anyone else has found a good alternative. thanks again.

The pic shows my Givi top box which is mounted on the OE Ducati mounting plate. The support bars I made using scrap flat bar. They are mounted between the top of the pannier mounts where the cross brace is fitted, the bolts are long enough for this and the 2 mounting points on the top box plate. I just bent the bar to follow the lines of the bodywork. 3 years 17k miles with no problems. There may be a manufacturer who has found a more aesthetic solution.
