Clearing out my old mans shed, found various cleaning products for car and leather care, ie car polish, leather treatment, vinyl cleaner etc, as he passed 9 years ago they are now quite old, just wondering if these things go off??
hmmm, I cant answer that. BUT While many older things are thought of as having superior quality. sometimes because they had more active ingredients, or because that awesome ingredient was HARSH... so no longer aloud. BUT remember, the things you will use it on (Leather/chrome/paint etc) are made differently so even if they are still viable as they were originally they may not be correct for newer surfaces. If you know it is still made, and still the same way, then try in an inconspicuous area first. Especially if restoring something old Rex
Got a black leather jacket? Rub a bit on the inside of the sleeve and test it. How bad can a little dubbing/ leather oil/cream be? Thats what I'd do. Maybe its like wine?
No way. My giant size tin of Duraglit is still going strong after 20 plus years. And my turtle products.. ...
Yep, back in the 60s I used to marshal at Brands and mooching around the paddock after one meeting I came across a bottle of Loctite and it lasted until last year. So give them a try.
No but had a garage clear out and found my 1st (half empty) but as good as new tub of copper slip, from my apprentice days a long long £25/week time ago
Ive got a 30 yr old tin of coppaslip which still gets a visit once in a while. Worried that the tin will rot from the outside before I get to the bottom.
