Ah,makes sense. So, not a business trying to steal the name but I guess that you can call flats (sorry, apartments - the East End of London was always really rough when I lived there - hence Millwall and West Ham - but now with Canary Wharf and the City Airport, it's gone all posh!) whatever you like.
My first ever game was West Ham v Spurs in ‘67 with my Dad. We were visiting my Granny & Grandad. Can’t remember much more but I was chatting to my dad about it a couple of weeks back. Didn’t effect me though - Swansea City are clearly the best team in all the leagues.
They were the days hey when everyone wore flat caps and smoked ... eventually me Nan gave up the smoking mind... X
Ha.... TBH he’s a lot taller than me he smokes an I don’t and that ain’t the east London skyline behind him me thinks .. A young “Jack the hat“ Perhaps...? X
Home sweet home.. I ain’t be able to visit the old Boleyn for ages but it’s all gone Now has it not? X
It's still a dump, as it always has been . I've been working in 'Upton Gardens' as it's now called, on and off for the last three years. And yes I've been called judas by my mates. Enjoy the game Noods. COYI
