My son was helping and he knocked it off the ceiling . I've used Q bond to very good effect. I normally plastic weld, on newer fairing. As it's so brittle, I'll glue then grind a V in the back, fill and reinforce with carbon tape. It's getting painted over winter, so I'll have grin and bear it.
Yay, the bike has been MOT'd and new shoes fitted. She is amazing, spent 3 hours around Derbyshire and enjoyed every minute. Thank you all for contributing and helping. On the down side, Q bond has failed, need to plastic weld. But, on the plus, she runs amazingly for the first ride in 7 years.
Hi everyone. I have just purchased a set of carbon air ducts for a 748 but they haven't got the lugs where the airbox clips can connect to. Would anyone know where I can get them from? Or has anyone made any? Thanks in advance
