It seems to be a weak point and breaks not uncommon - I was in my local dealership yesterday and someone phoned to order one (don't know the cost).
Yeah, it didn’t take much at all. There’s a weak pint where the ‘shaft’ meets the mirror housing. £147 !!!!!
