  1. Hi Guys

just got bike today, not sure how to access battery, nothing helpful on you tube, any tips would be great - thanks!

  2. @finm - can you help?

  3. how do. left hand side panel stick yer head under it and look up. you will see a little silver tab or you might not. pull it down till it clicks (total pain in the ass to get it back on) i keep it in my pocket now. about half way up at the front of the panel there's a screw with a little ring you can turn if you reach down between the forks you can undo it from there. pull out at the bottom off the rubbers. hay presto, one battery. your fuses and really s are in there to. change the relay's annually.(cause no end of silly issues. the head light relay is down the front between the forks and the tank.
replace the battery and starter leads if not done already for @Exige battery leads. swapping those relays and leads will eliminate most reliability issues.

  4. your a star, thank you!

  6. V helpful thanks.
When you say change the relays do you mean the 5 fuses In front of the battery?

  7. change them regularly too. the relays are the 2 units about 15mm by 30mm with 4 pins. 2 bigger than the other pluged in next to them.
