Wasn't knocking the idea, and will give it a go. I just know what I'm like " not quite there, another 5 mins should do nicely........oh s**t!"
Done it plenty of times with computer components to rejoin solder joints. Oven on low heat, you'd be amazed but it works. Also used this technique on one of my sons toys to get at a motor to repair it. Worked a treat.
I know you weren't, just thought I'd be as descriptive as possible. It literally takes 5 minutes for the glue to soften, it sets again just as quickly.
