  1. I came to the same conclusion...

  2. Hello I have a 1098 2010 streetfighter, can anyone tell me? I am after putting terminogni end cans on my bike do I need to put a servo eliminator on or not.
I just worried about messing the ecu or getting a false code coming up.

  3. Just leave it as it is.

  4. Leave it as it is does that mean I can change it with no problems at all or are you telling me that I should put my time on his own which I have already purchased any help please

  5. If it just the end can after the valve, leave as is.

  8. I was hoping to gain storage space and rid of some weight until I read what's needed to be done to remove the servo. Ugh!
Kudos to those that have the patience and tenacity but for me, it's not worth the time and effort for the little space and weight saved.

  9. I removed mine last weekend. Took 30 mins on my own. Sounds worse a job than it is. Once you’ve cracked the two subframe bolts and removed them it’s not too difficult to remove. I used a healtech widget to prevent the fault code.

  10. Thanks for the encouragement big guy. I'm just too lazy to go through that for what it's worth (1 lbs of savings). I saved 6 lbs or more just by changing the battery to a lithium which btw, if ever you're considering a LI battery, just do it. There's no downside. Leaving the valve stock is not a bad idea for now and that Duc-EE I just purchased may possibly be ported to another Ducati. I may safety-wire the valve open. However, should I ever replace the cat box with an Akra, I'll remove the servo then.

  11. Guys
Where is the electrical connector. Can I get at that easily or does that also need major surgery?
    It’s a 2015 1200s DVT
I ordered a duc-eez just wondering if it’s a 30 min or whole weekend job to fit it

  12. It's a five minute job at most.
The plug is under the rubber strapped cluster holding two white plugs on the right side of the bike.
Just pop the cluster out of the way and you'll see the servo connector thereunder.
    I've posted some photos here:
